OVID Clippers and Trimmers Limited Warranty

Thank you for choosing OVID, where we are committed to providing the highest quality and most innovative hair tools for professional use. We are proud to offer a limited warranty for our clippers and trimmers. Please review the following terms and conditions of our limited warranty policy:

What Is Covered

OVID clippers and trimmers are covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies to OVID Professionals (licensed hair designers) and OVID Partners (licensed salons) only and is non-transferable.

 

This limited warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service. If your OVID clippers or trimmers fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the product at no charge.  YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE PRODUCT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED HEREIN.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents.

  • Defects or failures resulting from improper cleaning or maintenance, including failure to oil the blades regularly.

  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.

  • Normal wear and tear, including blade dulling or battery degradation.

  • Damage due to improper handling or storage.

Warranty Void

The warranty will be void if:

  • The product has been disassembled or altered.

  • The blades are not cleaned and oiled regularly.

  • The product is not used according to the instructions provided.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

For OVID Professionals and Partners:

  • Contact OVID: Please contact us at returns@ovid.hair.

  • Submission Requirements: Include the proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and a short video demonstrating the failure of the clippers or trimmers.

  • Handling the Claim: Our team will review the information and coordinate the repair or replacement of the product.

Additional Information

  • The warranty does not extend to any OVID products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

  • Repair or replacement of the clippers or trimmers does not extend or restart the original warranty period.

  • OVID reserves the right to inspect the product to determine the validity of the warranty claim.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your OVID clippers and trimmers, please follow these maintenance tips:

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean the blades after each use to prevent build-up of hair and debris.

  • Oiling the Blades: Oil the blades regularly to keep them sharp and functioning smoothly.

  • Proper Storage: Store the product in a dry, cool place to avoid damage.

LIMITATION OF REMEDIES; EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE PRODUCT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED HEREIN.  OVID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUNETIAL DAMAGES.
