OVID Hair Dryer Limited Warranty

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products and are pleased to offer a one-year limited warranty for our OVID hair dryers. Please review the following terms and conditions of our limited warranty policy:

What Is Covered

OVID hair dryers are covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

 

This limited warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service. If your OVID hair dryer fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the product at no charge. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE PRODUCT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED HEREIN.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents.

  • Defects or failures resulting from improper cleaning or maintenance, including failure to clean the air filters.

  • Damage caused by wrapping the cord around the unit, which can compromise the internal wiring.

  • Any modifications or alterations made to the product.

  • Normal wear and tear.

Warranty Void

The warranty will be void if:

  • The cord is wrapped around the unit.

  • The air filters are not cleaned regularly and properly.

  • Obvious neglect or misuse.

How to Make a Warranty Claim For Clients

  • Return to Original Seller: If you are a client who purchased an OVID hair dryer from an OVID Professional or Partner salon, please return the product to the OVID Professional or Partner salon from whom you purchased the item.

  • Proof of Purchase: Ensure you have your original receipt or proof of purchase available.

  • Description of Issue: Provide a detailed description of the issue you are experiencing with the hair dryer.

How to Make a Warranty Claim For OVID Professionals & Partners

  • Contact OVID: If a client returns an OVID hair dryer to you with a warranty claim, please contact us at returns@ovid.hair.

  • Submission Requirements: Include the proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and a short video demonstrating the failure of the hair dryer.

  • Handling the Claim: Our team will review the information and coordinate the repair or replacement of the hair dryer.

Additional Information

  • The warranty does not extend to any OVID products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

  • Repair or replacement of the hair dryer does not extend or restart the original warranty period.

  • OVID reserves the right to inspect the product to determine the validity of the warranty claim.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXCLUDED.

LIMITATION OF REMEDIES; EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE PRODUCT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED HEREIN.  OVID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUNETIAL DAMAGES.
